Welcome Abby!

This brings our tally of Fellows who have already arrived up to eight! You heard that right: eight! That is not including Kelly Martin who is in Greensboro. How cool is that?

A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK

Hope International

Erika Quaile and her team put on a Grade A+ event. Peter Greer was awesome. And Footnote was the perfect venue. Great job everyone!!!

Two of my very favorite people in the world right here

Winshape Camp

David went to Winshape Camp for the first time. He didn't know anyone who was going. But by the end of Day 1 he told me this was one of the best things he has ever been a part of!!!

Great Job!

Day 1 jitters

Emotional Quotient Index 2.0 Certification

You can't see David very well - but he is in the crowd dancing!!! So fun!!!

A Great Day at the Lodge

Gardner Barrier

Gardner Barrier, Head of School at FCDS, one of our Board Members, a member of the GOYBADS, and one of my best friends shared his story at NCS on Friday. I couldn't have been more proud of him.

EQi 2.0 Certification

This week, I was fortunate enough to get trained and certified in administrating the Emotional Quotient index (the premiere Emotional Intelligence test) on the market.

My instructor was awesome - and I was able to pass the final exam!!! Woo Hoo!!!

I had a great cohort: a gentlemen from Carnegie Mellon, a Talent Manager from Vanguard, and the Leadership Developer for Major League Soccer. So fun.

Calvin and Lauren Lenham

On Friday and Saturday we had the chance to celebrate with one of our Host Families as they married off their oldest son Calvin to his high school sweetheart.

Anna Rose was the flower girl!

What happened to my little girl!!!

FINANCE UPDATE

We have started our 2018-19 fiscal year on good footing. Because of all the last minute Host Family and other details, I'm a little behind on sending out invitations to you - the friends of the Fellows - seeking your support this year.

So here are a few options:

1. Give before you are invited.

checks to
WS Fellows
851 W. 5th St.
Winston-Salem, NC 27101

or online
wsfellows.com/give

2. Think about what you are going to give once you are invited.

3. Or just don't think about it until you get the invitation

LOOKING FORWARD

There is lots to do!!!

Did I mention we've got nine days!!!

One highlight this week is a fond farewell to Grace Mezzy who will be moving to San Francisco to continue her design work with Lacy Maxwell Experiential! We are so proud of her!

Also, this Saturday is a citywide Barnabas Center Training. I think spots are still available.

Here is the link

Thanks all!

Keep sharing the story and spreading the love!!!
