UPDATE Week of Aug 30

THEY CAME!

I can tell already this is going to be a great year.

These fellows are tight

And exuberant

ORIENTATION

The one picture we managed to get with everyone in it.

We journeyed down to Lake Norman for a few days of community building and diving deep

Morning time on the lake

We discussed our summer reading, including Adulting 101 with Pete Hardesty the author. Here he is praying for us.

Caleb taught us hand motions to My Lighthouse

We found some time to relax

We cooked good food

played some games

made some art

and so much more...we can't let you know about all our secrets!

NEW CAR

What a beautiful God story.

The Fellows served as greeters and ushers for the event

They also got to enjoy some fine art

A truly great evening.

WS OPEN

On Saturday, we were invited to watch the WS Open Finals

The Fellows met so many amazing people, including Margaret Wray who will be Delaney's mentor this year!

SCAVENGER HUNT

We sent the Fellows on a scavenger hunt of the city.

Lots of memory making

Stopping to smell the roses at Reynolda Gardens

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

The best I could get for Anna Rose

AJ Britton just took on a teaching job at Winston-Salem Christian!

WELCOME HOME

Sunday night, I had the honor of being a part of Bowen's homecoming party. Love that guy.

PREGAMING

We had the Fellows over Monday night for a pre-program Round Table

RECRUITING

Mallory told me this on Saturday night that she thinks every college graduate should do a Fellows program. If you know one or are one - please reach out to me.

I am already in conversations with three potential candidates for next year!
