Yes. 14 Fellows. Our biggest class ever. It has been an adventure getting here, and the true adventure is only beginning.
This year we have Fellows from different parts of the world, Fellows who speak multiple languages, Fellows who love photography, Fellows who love medicine, education, art, and children...
It is a diverse class with a common bond of teachability, work ethic, and love of God and neighbor.
It is going to be a great year.
One Year Ago
This photo came up on our Facebook feed. What a crazy year! Here we are at Orientation masked and singing. It was a wild, wonderful year. A year we will never forget.
And here we are on the cusp of a new one.
God, you have been faithful!
Four Generations
On Monday night we had Four Generations of Fellows over for a Pre-Year Round Table.
Unfortunately, though we were all vaccinated - one of us got sick and tested positive the next day. After a harrowing couple days of trying to figure out how to start a program with both Fellows Directors in quarantine, we received great news - Covid negative!
Delta Variant is Real y'all. Get your vaccine!
Final Touches
We are putting the final touches on the house as we get ready to welcome our 6th class of Fellows!
Where is Sydney?
New Life
Hef is "enjoying" farm life while her house is getting some work done on it. This week she welcomed some goats into the world. Michelle and Caroline were present to witness the miracle.
Tennis is Back
It's great to have tennis back in Winston-Salem
Owen and Michelle got fancy for it
Welcome Delaney!
This was an unexpected surprise!
Long story - but this week Delaney Zizmer joined our class! Delaney hails from Orlando, Florida. I have known for several years, meeting her in the Dominican Republic at Mission Emanuel.
Delaney graduated from the University of Florida and has keen business sense and a love for Jesus. She is going to be another great addition to an already great class!
Welcome, Delaney!
Give
Two Filstons.
Caroline is a triplet. I don't know if you knew that. Well, one of them is getting married in like a week. The other has joined us to be a Fellow!
Jamo is such a fun human being. He is curious and creative and full of heart.
We will need your support to give him the year we want for him!!!

We are kicking things off officially this Wednesday.
It is an orientation full of surprises so I can't disclose anything here.
but please pray for us!
We are still landing some job planes, mentor planes and family friends planes.
Pray for safe landings.
