THE WEEK

It was another great week to be a Fellow.

ROUND TABLE. Fellows Alums Julia and Reese Schaffner hosted us Monday for Round Table.

It was a sweet time. Reese and Julia were put on the Hot Seat which at one point turned into a Ned Roast but ultimately became a powerful testimony to what happens to people when we seek first His Kingdom.

So good.

TUESDAY. Conversation with John Taft. I didn't get a picture, but John Taft was impressive as a speaker and converser. He spoke to the value of people centered what's best for society business - right up the Fellows alley. Very cool. Totally reframed my thinking around the heaviest president of the United States. He certainly did his grandfather proud.

WEDNESDAY. Leader Lunch with ALLAN YOUNGER.

Allan is one of my favorite Leader Lunch speakers. He makes connections so easily and engages so well with young people. He is also one of the most sought after and networked guys I know.

He calls it being productive. I like that.

Well, our time with him was certainly productive. Thanks, Allan!

THURSDAY. Pause to Celebrate BRYAN PARDUE!

We all love Bryan. How can you not? He is a friend to the end, who makes everything fun, and enhances every gathering he is a part of.

It was not hard for us to celebrate this guy.

What a year it has been for him! We hope it is nowhere close to how great his next year will be!!!

Birthday Doughnuts

Tim Gardner introduced us to a great video series about calling and entrepreneurship then led us in a discussion.

So good.

I was late because David was a grasshopper in the school play.

Nigel's Class was again off the charts. Speaking of charts, we talked about leadership styles. He split us up in our strongest leadership style and had us teach the other fellows about it.

These Fellows are going places

We went up to the cabin for an overnight mini-advance with our friends at Generous Giving. They host these really cool gatherings called JOGs. Journey of Generosity.

Hailey Anderton, an Orlando Fellow, facilitated ours. She was fantastic. She overcame some technical challenges and nailed. it.
