UPDATE Week of May 10

What a week full of goodness.

Make sure you scroll all the way. There are A LOT of great photos.

ROUND TABLE AT THE CAMPBELLS

Mike and Missy Campbell welcomed us onto their back patio for Round Table Monday night. It was a sweet time of laughter, sharing, worshipping, and celebrating.

Hope we didn't annoy the neighbors too much!

Thanks Mike and Missy for opening your home to us. You are wonderful friends.

HAYES HAD An A+ B-Day

The celebration portion was focused on the one and only Hayes Mabry

We surprised him with a present and an avalanche of affirmation

We love you Hayes!

LEADER LUNCH WITH CHIEF THOMPSON

Chief Thompson visited with us on Wednesday for Leader Lunch. There are a lot of things to love about Winston-Salem. One of those things for sure is how awesome our Chief is.

She is an incredible leader and cool as a cucumber. That crazy hostage shootout on Lockland Ave. happened while she was speaking to us. Her phone was pinging like crazy.

But she was calm, collected, and told us that she trusted her team. We didn't know at the moment that she really was trusting her team in real time!

Wow!

MICHELLE TAKES IT FOR THE TEAM

We switched back to Ultimate Frisbee with the Waughtown Bunch. Michelle tried to catch a frisbee with her face.

AJ was the one who threw it.

I mean - what a shiner!

Michelle. You rock

CLASS WITH NIGEL

Nigel once again knocked it out of the park.

Here AJ stands tall while speaking.

Sadly, we only have one class left with Nigel. What a gift he is.

MIRACLE HEIGHTS

We got to put our Fellows up on the Miracle Heights rope course Friday afternoon.

IT WAS AWESOME!

The course is opening to the community in June.

We paid full price and it was worth it!

A VISIT FROM BIG SIS

Emily's sister Christina (yes - Christina Sandstedt! from Class One of the Fellows!) came to visit.

Sean Henderson from Year One also came by. His sister got married on Saturday. I was unfortunately on the top apparatus when the two first stopped by. I rappelled down locket split!

Sean is doing great in Charlotte. Coaching and Teaching.

Christina is moving to Santa Barbara to be the Commanding Officer on a patrol boat. Not a bad place to patrol I'd say!

It was soooooo good to see them.

NOTHING BORING ABOUT THIS BOARD

This less than quality photo is a from our board meeting on Wednesday night. The quality of the meeting was much better.

BIBLE STUDY

We are also winding down our weekly Bible Study. Just one more left. What a gift this time has been.

Thank you!

David and Shannon Rainey

Beth Hilliard

Rob Paynter

for your service

BONFIRE

Thursday evening we had a beautiful sunset bonfire on the hill

EAGLE AWARD

Friday was David's last day of tennis. He was given the Eagle Award, which is basically handed out to the athlete with the biggest heart. We could not have been more proud.

COMMERCIAL: STRAWBERRIES ARE READY!

Strawberries are for sale at Crossnore. $14 a gallon. AND THEY ARE SOOOO GOOD.

Also. Thank the Fellows for keeping them from freezing during that cold snap!

GRADUATIONS (FINALLY)

Our Fellows are finally graduating from college! (A year after graduating!)

AJ is in Gainsville to collect his tassel.

GIVING BLOOD

Tori and Rossi gave blood on Thursday and collected their spoils

RIVER RUN

River Run Film Festival kicked off on Thursday. The Fellows went to watch the Love Bug at Bailey Park.

RECRUITING

I wish we could re-recruit AJ. Alas, he is moving on to bigger and better things.

Which leaves room for you!

If you are trying to figure out what your next thing is contact us today!

ned@wsfellows.com

we only have a few spots left!

GIVING

Hef and last years Fellows had one last get together before Brianne, Reiley and Mattie ship out. AHHH!!!

One HUGE reason to give is the lasting effect we are having on men and women. This photo is an example. These gals didn't know each other two years ago - now they are living with each other, caring for each other and thriving in their spheres of influence and passion.
