ANNOUNCING A FEW PARTNERSHIPS!

G.I.D.E.
The Guiding Institute of Developmental Education

Bill McClain and I had a serious planning session on the back porch of River Birch Lodge this week. There are still details to be hashed out and some money to be raised, but we are excited to announce that the Winston-Salem Fellows will be helping G.I.D.E. lead the charge in coordinated tutoring and homework help with the most desperately in need children in Winston-Salem.

We are hoping to secure funding for one of our Fellows to work for Bill for the their Fellows job. The rest of us will be committing to tutor children and do our best to get these kids on track while they are trying to learn from home.

The need is greater than we can accomplish on our own. So if you are inspired to help, please contact winstonsalemfellows@gmail.com

We will be connecting with students through FaceTime and Zoom, so it is possible to do this from the comfort of your own home.

Miracle Grounds and Crossnore Farm

Eric Mathis. Founder of Regenerate Forsyth and the Miracle Grounds Network

Eric and I have been scheming and dreaming for years about this, and suddenly it is all starting to come together!

With our new location on the grounds of Crossnore, we are excited to get our hands dirty with the great work happening on the farm and in East Winston, bringing great food to the desserts in our city.

We also had a great meeting with the Program Director at Crossnore and once we figure out COVID, the Fellows will also be able to help out with the students at Crossnore!
