UPDATE Week of March 15

It's a Fellows Fiesta!

Lean Mean Vaccine Machines

The Fellows joined forces with the Public Health Department, Novant Health, and Wake Forest to help vaccinate 8,400 over the weekend!

There is no going back for Caroline

Friend of Ned and the Fellows, Mike Campbell got shot

Sam was the welcoming committee

Pam and Ned are pumped to get us vaccinated

Round Table

We had special guests visit for Round Table. Jade and Jessie Costen! And they came bearing gifts! Well, Chik Fil A which definitely counts as a gift, although compared to hearing their stories and their wisdom and all their amazing answers to the Fellows questions - that was the REAL GIFT!

Hayes is pictured above - with a happy stomach

Our meeting after the meeting

Thank you Costens!

Youth Groupies

I swing by Hope Church yesterday and got to watch our Fellows in action as they led Youth Group.

These girls LOVE THEM. What a treat!

Miracle of Biblical Proportions

Emily lost her Bible a few weeks ago and we thought it was lost forever - but we found it! It was a little wet, a little muddy and a little torn - but it was all there!

Praise the Lord!

Last Class with Rob

Rob Alexander visited us in person for his last session with the Fellows Thursday Night. We had chicken tacos and dessert and a great time was had by all.

Thanks Rob!

Last Class with Leadership Edge

Ned put the Fellows asleep Friday morning during the last Leadership Edge Class

Hef had to cool down because Hef just has to do that sometimes

Bryn's New Style

Bryn decided to go bold with a new hairdo

This is before. The above is after.

Camping

Four of the Fellows went camping Friday night in the drizzle. The girls borrowed my tent. Hayes below is admiring his new tent.

Tutti Fruiti is Home

The Fellows are welcoming back Tutti Fruiti after a harrowing encounter with a dog. The llama still freaks me out, but we are glad she is home.

Spikeball and Southside Backyard Ministry

Now that Spring is in the air, the Fellows have returned to do relational ministry outdoors with the kids in Waughtown. It was so fun to get back together again.

We have started a new sport: kickball!

The Fellows have also started a Spikeball group chat. If the weather is nice, you will probably see people at Hanes Park.

Brianne's Big Day

Brianne has finally become fully funded for Athletes in Action. Now that was something for us to celebrate!

Recruitment

We are also celebrating Luke Hoffman! He is graduating from App State and will be joining us here in the fall. Luke is deeply thoughtful, justice minded, and super fun guy.

I was already excited about next year - but I'm really excited now! Welcome Luke!

Give

Emily Bing and I had a chance to catch up on Tuesday mornings. We will be working here until we get all the people vaccinated. Let's go world!

It is fun to give your time to good things.

It's also fun to give your finances to good things...like the Fellows!

Send checks to
