UPDATE Week of April 12

AJ has been hanging out now for awhile.

Round Table at the Rainey's

David and Shannon Rainey hosted us in the back of their house on Monday. What a sweet time of food, pickle ball, refreshment, worship, and getting centered on what matters

Thank you Rainey Family

Leader Lunch with Richard Daniels

I wish the world could have been there on Wednesday to hear my friend Richard's story.

WOW.

You are the man

Whatever

This is when you know you hit the mark - when afterward all the Fellows swarm around you to hear more.

Thanks Richard!

Dr. Trolly

Jeff Trollinger did part two of his Personal Finance Class.

This was also one of the "I wish the entire world could learn from this guy" kind of times.

Thank you Trolly. You are the best!

Dr. Nigel

Do you want to know the truth?

Nigel is better on Zoom then most people are in person.

Our Fellows had an awesome time learning about Leadership Styles, Communication Strategies, and the Platinum Rule

Sam led us in one of our exercises.

Thank you Nigel!

Recruiting

We will work toward getting a better picture. Sorry Miranda!

But we are no less thrilled to be welcoming this wonderful lady to our program next year. Miranda Chiang went to Messiah College and is currently working for HOPE International (one of my favorite nonprofits).

She grew up in Peru and is a dual language speaker.

Miranda loves connecting with people and her sweet spirit will be a huge lift to our community next year. Welcome Miranda!

Give

We've got a lot of things cooking at the Fellows.

And one of the key ingredients is your support!

Please send checks to

End of an Era

My old office (the Young Life House) was torn down this week. I am very sad to see it go. So many memories. So many God moments. Sigh.

C-Fil is the Champion

Congratulations to Caroline Filston who won our NCAA Bracket - choosing Baylor to win it all.

Victory is sweet.

Service

We got in a little love down in Waughtown this week.

We also worked on the Crossnore Farm

And Vaccine Clinic-ed

Woo Hoo

Reunions

Speaking of Covid. Things have opened up for Fellows, and they are taking advantage of it by seeing loved ones around the country.

These guys live here - but aren't they cute!

Rock Stars

Several Fellows went up to Pilot on Saturday to do some rock climbing

Sad to miss out

Run for Clean Water

Meanwhile, I was running for Hydrating for Humanity Ultra Run.

I only ran the 50k. Others did the 100k or attempted the 100 miler.

Wells did a great job race directing.

And low and behold - I won the 50k! What!

Nationals Here We Come

Speaking of victory - Anna Rose has been working hard to qualify for Pony Club Nationals.

And she accomplished it on the first try this weekend. Woo Hoo!
