UPDATE Week of April 27

The Fellows Are in the House!

It was good to get away...this week, we got away a few times.

Round Table at the Howards

Michelle Howard's family hosted us for Round Table Monday night!

We have decided that they will be serving guac in heaven

AJ is a member of the clean plate club

We held our meeting around the fire pit.

It was dark by the end

Thank you Howards!

 Leader Lunch with Melissa Parker

Melissa Parker hosted us at Novant for a most remarkable Leader Lunch

You know you hit a chord when this happens afterward.

Melissa is one amazing storyteller with one amazing story!

Class with Nigel and Clay

UGH! I keep forgetting to get a picture of Nigel's class.

He is simply too mesmerizing.

Not that Clay Cooke isn't - I just remember better after I get mad at myself for forgetting.

Clay embodied the word for us

He taught us that to be human is to be an arrow

He brought props

tori won.

We learned a ton.

Waughtown Love

The Fellows loved on some Waughtown friends on Wednesday

What a joy!

The National Fellows Conference

The National Fellows Conference was held remotely once again this year.

But don't feel too bad for us. We got to spend it down at the lake! Thank you Jeff and Kim!!!

We are big on snacks

We watched three really great sessions.

The first was given by Dr. Gray Sutanto from Indonesia! He is a writer, thinker, pastor, teacher who has just taken a position at Reformed Theological Seminary to teach their Systematic Theology. His talk was on understanding cultural context and theology.

The second was given by Dr. Hannah Stolze who is a professor at Wheaton College and the head of the Center for Faith and Innovation (formally the OPUS institute). She just came out with a book called Wisdom Based Business that I think we are all going to get.

The third talk was given by Rev. Dr. Walter Kim who is the pastor at Trinity Presbyterian in Charlottesville and the President of the National Evangelical Association and on the Board of Directors for Christianity Today.

Saturday night we had a nationwide zoom panel discussion with the leaders. It went well!

Sunday morning we had a great time of worship at "Lakeshore Community Church"

Shenanigans were had

It rained all weekend - but it didn't matter when you are with dear friends!

What a weekend.

Farm Fresh

We keep helping on the farm...we still hardly know what we are doing!

Vaccine Love

We keep shooting people. We will do so until we run out of people to shoot
