THE FELLOWS UPDATE...
food.
festivities.
and a few fantastic moments.
What a great week. We celebrated. We laughed. We got deep. And we served in some rather creative ways. When Jesus talked about life to the full, I believe he was talking about weeks like this one...
Ready or not. Here comes the UPDATE!

A special thanks to Chad and Caroline Brown for hosting us on their back patio. Hayes said it was his favorite meal so far this year.

LEADER LUNCH
Chuck Spong and Liz Miller shared their stories and talked about Love Our Loud for our Leader Lunch this week.
There are few people I know who more smack dab in the middle of "their deep gladness and the world's deep need" than Chuck.
What a gift he brings to our city.
So fun to see JM (Fellow Alum) in their Case for Support.

DAY APART
We had a two part day apart on Friday.
Part one.
Joe Moore led us in a miniature retreat where we practiced silence and listening for the still small voice of the Lord.
Emphasis on practice.
We had a great location though.
TJ Sigler with Love Out Loud Yadkin hosted us at the East Bend Property.
What a great place to retreat. I found a spot by some trees that had fallen in the tropical storm that blew through the night before.
More Pictures later...
Part two.
Kevin Frack led us in our second miniature retreat where we practiced experiencing God through participating with nature.
We prepared a meal with food that had been harvest.
While it cooked we shucked beans.
Then, we went to the garden and gathered peppers.
Then, we visited the chicks. Lots of pictures later!
Then, we returned to eat our meal.
It was delicious! We shared stories around food and talked about how we had seen the Lord this week.
FRIDAY FRISBEE and COMMUNITY MEAL
We wrapped up Frisbee season with a tournament and a community dinner
parents and family came. That's Sheila waving. She is a prayer warrior.
FUNKY DUCK
At the Winston Junction Market on Saturday Morning - the Funky Duck took flight!
What is the Funky Duck?
Basically, they are the very best French Fries period.
We use Duck Fat, which is the finest cooking fat there is. On top of it, Will Shields of the Slanted Shed Food Truck fame create this secret recipe that takes the thing to another level.
Add in some friendly Fellows, and voila!
Funky Duck is born
We had some friendly customers

Other Fellows got into the Great Halloween Bake-off!
