We take things seriously here at the Winston-Salem Fellows
The Week
There was a lot of sweetness this week (and I'm not just talking about the cake in the next picture). I'm talking about the sweetness of relationships. When community pushes beyond the getting to know you to the I accept you for who you are - that's the sweetness I'm talking about. It's here. And I'm grateful for it.
Round Table with Rossi and Kittens
We surprised Caroline Rassenfoss with a not-your-birthday birthday party for Round Table Monday night. Her real birthday is in the summer. When that's the case, we find a time in our year to surprise them.
I can certify that Caroline did not eat all the cake.
We were hosted by Tripp and Patricia Wilson who tried to convince us to adopt their rescue kitten.
Their Meanie Pants Director said NO!
Leader Lunch with Ben Jones and a Group Counseling Sesh
Ben Jones, the Executive Director of the Barnabas Center here in Winston-Salem (and Greensboro) shared with us on Wednesday.
Ben is a great friend, inspiring teacher, a board member with the Fellows.
For the majority of our time together, he led us through an exercise to help us work through some of the underlying anxiety we are experiencing.
It was super helpful.
Thank you Ben! here is a link to them.
Chips and Young Life Banquet

Friday Afternoon Picnic
It was a glorious weekend. The girls kicked it off right with an afternoon sunset picnic at Reynolda Gardens
I hope that sign in the background doesn't say "No Picnicking!"

Our very own Emily Sandstedt organized a Saturday hike at Pilot Mountain State Park
We made it to the top
