Happy New Year!
Seeing the light burn off the fog from on top of Moore's Wall on New Years was emblematic of my prayers for this coming year.
BIG THANKS
Things are not what they seem. Anna Rose made ceramic ornaments for Lia and bought me a new knife but this is how she wrapped them. Ha!
Speaking of gifts.
THANK YOU to all of you who sent year end gifts to the Fellows. Y'all are amazing.
For those of you who are inclined to monthly giving, this is a great time to start afresh in January with the Fellows.

Thank you, again!
A Fellows Love Story
We are over the moon for Jacob Pardue and Sophie-Earle McCraw.
Jacob popped the question over the Christmas holiday. Getting to hear them both share the story was certainly a highlight of the break.
Congratulations to you both. We can't wait to get this party started!
Recruitment Update
Speaking of over the moon.
We want to welcome Molly Dwyer to the Winston-Salem Fellows! Molly is from Hickory, North Caroline and will be graduating this May from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Molly's faith shines out of her. She has a servant spirit and fun streak that will bring a lot of joy to the community. We are excited to see how God is going to use her passion for teaching next year!
Welcome Molly!
Brianne had a Birthday!
Fellows Alum Brianne is no stranger to the Update. She is one of the most faithful contributors. She is also one of the all time greatest ladies I know.
It was pure joy celebrating her on New Years Eve Eve
almost the whole gang got to be there to celebrate
Happy Birthday Brianne! May this one be the best one yet!
Home for the Holidays
It was a quiet Christmas for the most part. Hef and CT got their kids matching pajamas which seemed to be a theme this year if my social media is accurate.
This photo was taken in the quiet pause after our we had a family love feast at home and all the children were asleep on Christmas Eve.
We had multiple Fellows in multiple weddings. Bailey above and CFil below
Tori went to new heights with friends
Owen took over the Fellows House
A FEW FRIENDS
I didn't see many people over the holiday, but I did see a few.
John and I shared some laughs and some tears.
Another John joined us on the back patio
Mathu came up from Charlotte. Bryan came east from Denver.
WHITE WEATHER
We had some snow up in the mountains, enough to make a snowman and to sled.
We went to see the Christmas Star
FOOD GLORY
I relived some of my food glory days when I was the main chef for the kiddos.
Hobo Dinners.
And Sunshine Quesadillas
HAPPY DOGS
Our furry friends were happy to have us back!
LOOKING AHEAD
We are easing into things with the Fellows. Lots of masking and distancing and testing. All in the name of loving each other and everyone else.
But we have a bunch of things we are looking forward to in January!
Testimony Advance
Vision Statements
Capstone Projects
Relationships Relationships Relationships
Among other surprises!
