UPDATE Week of Oct 4

Mallory goes on a walk with her mentor Anne at Salem Lake

Round Table - aka the Gauntlet Part 1

We called an audible on Monday because of a Covid exposure, so instead of dinner at Mike and Missy Campbell's, Mike brought dinner to us! What a guy!

This is what a socially distanced picnic looks like

Leader Lunch with Steve

By Wednesday, most of us at gotten our Covid results back and were negative.

We still took the precaution of having our Leader Lunch with Steve Lineberger outside.

A couple nuggets from Steve:
Clear is kind
when given command, take command
grow where God plants you
use every opportunity as a learning experience
you are not here to make a name, you are here to glorify a name

good stuff!

Fellows At Work Part 1

This was a Fellows first!

Sydney sliced her hand at work. Her boss Jana took her to Urgent Care. And Ashlyn, whose Fellows job is at Fast Med Urgent Care took care of her!

Thank you Jana for taking care of Syd!

Fellows At Work Part 2

I visited Louise on site at Pearce Elementary where they were putting on a Boosterthon Event.

She put me to work.

Thursday, several Fellows worked from home. Always a joy!

Fellows Gauntlet Part 2

God spared us once again. We were 100% negative!

I'm getting my Booster today!

Hey you! Get vaccinated too!

Fellows at Rest

Thursday night, the Fellows went out for some relaxation at Incendiary.

Good times! We played rotating conversation.

Fellows at Church

Youth Groups around the city were in high swing.

Here is Redeemer and Hope.

River Oaks went on a retreat at Camp Hanes!

House Call

Long story, but I was driving through Warrenton, Virginia on Saturday, and guess who happened to be there? Mallory!

So me and the parents stopped by.

My farthest house call to date!

Ultimate Weekend

Tori Ellingson came back into town for a regional ultimate frisbee competition. In a huge field of teams, their team came in third place.

Great job Tori!

Fellows at Class

Shannon Rainey and pictured here, David Speakman, continued to do a fabulous job teaching us this week.

Woods of Terror

Some of the Fellows traveled down the road to the Woods of Terror Friday Night.

Always an experience. You go right ahead is what I say.

Throwback Pic of the Week

Jame and Caroline Filston. I can't explain it. I just post these things

Parental Guidance

My parents visited for the week. It was the first time they had seen their grand kids since Covid. What a joy to have them around.

Recruiting

I met this delightful potential Fellows this week.

We are in conversations with several seniors from around the country. Please pray they apply. It would be a dream to fill up fast!

Meg - let's do this!
