UPDATE Week of Sept 6

Wil has fully taken the Fellows Leap

ROUND TABLE

Monday - We had all the Fellows over for dinner on the back patio. The goats serenaded us. Hef led us in a discussion on community. And a good time was had by all.

LEADER LUNCH

John Bost kicked off the fall in style at his beautiful in town cabin (shed). He is a great Leader Speaker as he is like a cat and has lived at least twelve lives - and counting.

I am always blown away by this man. Thank you John for who you are!

BOOKS! thanks Joe!

The Fellows had a chance to celebrate Joe Moore's first day of retirement by off leading a few dozen books from his shelves.

Joe has been serving in ministry for 40+ years with Intervarsity. The number 46 is in my head, but I may be wrong. What a legacy!

Thanks, my friend.

HANGING ROCK

On Friday, we let nature be our teacher as we headed up the road to Hanging Rock for a day of hiking and basking in the beauty of the Lord.

One thing I learned - Elisabeth is NOT afraid of heights.

PRIDDYS

Afterward, we ate pimento cheese and stinky cheese at Priddy's general store

Eric Mathis joined us and entertained the Fellows with his stories and vision.

FALL SPORTS

David ran his first Cross Country Meet last week. His first time finishing in the top five!

David and the coaches

Anna Rose played up on Varsity against Tabor

She had a freak accident before the game and broke her leg. Oops! She is out for two weeks in a boot. Still proud of her. And impressed with her pain threshold.

TABOR STRONG

It was wild being at Tabor the night before all the crazy. How I love that school! I am definitely a Spartan at heart.

One of the many double rainbow photos that were taken on Wednesday afternoon. What a crazy crazy day.

GO DEACS

Friday night, the Fellows joined us on the lawn for their first Demon Deacon Football game.

LOVING HEF

Hef doesn't want to talk about it, but she has had a really hard month. So the Fellows loved on her with a few of her favorite things.

Then, on Saturday, we came over and helped demo and paint stuff at her house.

(Her house flooded and they have had to move to temporary housing while their floors are redone among a million other things. Pray for her!)

FIRST LEAF

A sign of fall - when I catch my first leaf on a run.

HURRICANE IDA

Well done Fellows - when it rains...dance.

Ashlyn and Molly agree - BEST DECISION EVER!
