RSVP at winstonsalemfellows@gmail.com or text (336) 413-4918

THANKS!

REQUEST FROM A FRIEND

Wake Grads and friends of the Fellows - Mama Dear - are performing tonight at the Dixie Classic Fair. CHECK THEM OUT!!!

Or just go! Because - HEY! Why not?

That's blow this out!

WEEKLY RECAP

ROUND TABLE - Chris and Virginia took things to a whole nuther level. Wow! On a personal note, it was a particularly special night because the Fellows celebrated my birthday. It will also be memorable for the fire that we tried to start that turned out to be perfect for smoke signals but not so much for heat or crackling flames.

Speaking of birthdays - David and I got to celebrate Lucy's 89th birthday.

LEADER LUNCH with NIGEL ALSTON

Nigel and the gang

I could listen to Nigel stories all day. As I reflect on Nigel's reflections, I am inspired by what happens to a man who says YES! What happens that we do the best we can and are kind to people in the places where find ourselves. It may not lead to a life as remarkable as Nigel's - but it does lead somewhere good. I believe that. Thanks Nigel.

Thanks FCDS for the spot to meet!
Lots of love around the board room on Wednesday

LIT CITY

Terrance Hawkins and the gang
The Fellows joined LIT City at Carver High School on Wednesday afternoon. Speaking of inspiring people - Terrance Hawkins - the dude is inspiring!

SAM AND EGGS - The Fellows joined Samaritan Ministries to help welcome men and women from across the community on Thursday Morning.

LUNCH 1 - I got to eat Lunch with David and his friends on Thursday.

Summit School

 LUNCH 2

Manny and Barbara Mill and the gang
Manny Mill and his wife Barbara were in town this week and the Fellows had the gift of sharing lunch with them on Thursday.

Barbara and I bonded over our Philly connections. Manny taught us how to hallow. A good time was had by all.

THANKS NCS!

FORSYTH PROMISE

Social and Emotional Learning

Thursday night, I attended the Forsyth Promise community conversation about the SEAL initiative. SEAL means Social Emotional Academic Learning.

It is pretty much exactly Emotional Intelligence that I have been learning about this summer.

It even has a wheel!

Me teaching EQ to the Fellows
I'm pumped about all this synergy.

FRIDAY MORNING

The Fellows got to hear one more time from Manny Mill.

Then, it was off to class with Ben Milner and Clay Cooke.

Another great week!
